I called Dr. Electric yesterday after another electric company failed to show up. I'm so glad I did. He was able to come out right away to run new wire and install a new light in my master bath. I was especially happy that he was able to do it with very little drywall damage. Dr. Electric was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The price he charged was great too. I will absolutely use him again if needed in the future and I would highly recommend his services to anyone!

One of the most hardworking, honest contractors I ever had the pleasure of working with. I called the Doctor around 9:00am on a Friday to start service for a house a just rebuild, he was there before 1:00pm, then had a box up and ready for LE&E around 6:00pm. The man works hard, gets in any time he's not already working, and always delivers. I used him many times for this build and will continue to use him as along as possible. When people ask me for an electrician I tell them, the only great choice in Louisville is Dr Electric.

Steve did an awesome job today at my house he was quick. His dog is pretty awesome like the work he did. I had him wire a exhaust fan to a switch by itself, and he put in a new light by the back door for me as well. I called him today at 12 and said he would be here at 3 and was here before 3, Thanks Steve.

Hands down the best electrician in Louisville! Steve and his partner in crime rosie were at my home in 5 minutes after I called. It was after 5, and he was right over no hesitation. Gave us a prompt and affordable quote, explained everything that needed to be done. Had our power back on in a few hours, and returned the next day and updated our breaker box. The work was top notch, and he will definitely be the only electrician I'll ever call.

We needed an electrician on short notice. We had a smoke detector wire and garbage disposal switch to repair just in time for home inspections. We called everywhere with no luck but found Dr. Electric (Steve) via Google search. Even with a packed schedule, he was more than willing to fit us in on the same day. His level of knowledge, experience, and expertise is unmatched. He provided us a lot of general information and answered all our questions about electrical wiring. Not only did he know what he was doing, he tackled each problem effortlessly and quickly and was extremely friendly and approachable as well. He also tries to maintain a close professional staff because hiring the right people is important to him. We are glad to have found a trustworthy and reliable electrician for a lifetime of needs. And for those who are price conscious, Steve is worth every penny and fairly reasonable. If you want a job done right the first time, be sure to call Dr. Electric!

I own Cork n Bottle liquors on Cane Run Rd and have been dealing with Dr. Electric for the past 2 years. I tried him out on my business first and they did such a great job that I use them for all my electrical needs. Steve is easy to get along with and great to bounce ideas off of. They do all my work for my business and at home. The best part is that they don't rape you on the cost. Last year I had him wire up my deck and it was done great. Low profile, multiple ports, weather proof, I told him what I wanted and he delivered. Great job to Steve and his crew. Thanks again. Ferris

Dr. Electric is now my go-to electrician. He has done work for us on several occasions. Steve had made me aware of the age and safety issues associated with our breaker box when he came out for smaller jobs in the past. I have always appreciated his ability to provide honest consultation without me feeling like he is just trying to sell me something that I don't need. Yesterday I called to see if someone could come out and replace our breaker box and he was able to fit me in! He did fabulous work. He also identified a couple of additional safety issues while working (nothing huge or too costly), but I appreciated his attention to detail. Every time Steve does work for us, it is clear that safety is his first priority. Also, his prices are always very reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Electric.

Steve was wonderful to work with. He came in after I had to fire my previous electrician and was very prompt, efficient, and completed quality work. The job was a full house reno, so the electrical took a couple of weeks. Even on short notice he completed the project very quickly. He was always very quick to respond to phone calls when I had questions. Would definitely recommend for any electrical project, large or small.

Steve did an outstanding job on my major electrical issue. I needed my entire Electrical Breaker Box and wiring replaced. I had quotes of $6,000 from Bryant Heating/Cooling and Electrical. I had pending scheduled estimates from Allen Electric for an earliest visit date of October 12th ( 3 1/2 weeks out). When I contacted Steve at Dr. Electric, he was at my house within a few hours. Steve quoted me half for what Bryant Heating/Cooling and Electrical quoted. Dr. Electric completed the entire project for 50% less. Steve is pleasant to talk to and is very professional with his work. He showed up early the following day and did not stop working until he was finished the job in the late afternoon. It is refreshing to know that there is someone out there who is willing to do these kind of difficult skilled jobs at reasonable prices. These big, known names company's in Louisville will take your money if you let them. Do your homework and call others for quotes. But for your Electrical needs, call Steve at Dr. Electric. He does high quality work at a fair price.

I'm a first time homebuyer in my twenties, I know nothing about electrical issues (or any other trade for that matter), and we purchased our home in 2020. It was still connected to its original 1957 fuse box. We (my husband and I) weren't even sure if the home was grounded. Needless to say, I was nervous about getting someone to come take a look at things. Fast forward to almost a year later, I reached out to Dr. Electric and left a voicemail saying I would like to be updated to a modern breaker panel. My number resembled a spam number at first glance so he didn't immediately answer, but when he called me back, he apologized and after I gave the green light, immediately started getting the supplies together he needed. He asked for a couple pictures of our fuse box and outside set up. He gave a quote then and there that even included the cost of the permit. Everything was very reasonable and fair. He was at my home within two days getting our home sorted. He was clear, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and really seemed to take pride in his work. And he even gave my dog some treats (after asking permission, of course). My house was stubborn. It was "one of those days", you know? A job that should have taken him 6 hours on an average day, took almost 12. There was paint so thick on the side of the house from the last owner, that he had to spend hours in hot, summer, after-rain humidity banging away just to get a piece on the outside of our house loose so he could get working. He was really put through the wringer. His favorite drill broke, he had to run to the hardware store; he ran out of daylight, he couldn't even bring his dog, Rosie, who has been his work buddy for over a decade. I was concerned he wouldn't be able to get it done before it simply got too late but he saw it through from beginning to end. Everything was taken apart, installed, put back together, tested, labeled, and cleaned up. He threw in a 5yr warranty and kept true to his original quote, despite
